The Centre for Chinese Language Education in Vancouver is the "World's First Centre" which is established outside of China under the leadership of The Office of Chinese Language Council International (also known as "Hanban")
Our Centre is committed to making the Chinese language and cultural teaching resources and services available to the world，to meeting the demands of overseas Chinese learners to the utmost and to contributing to the formation of a world of cultural diversity and harmony. Our centre carries 37 sets of Chinese textbooks, and more than 100 different varieties of Chinese language and cultural learning materials. There are several different learning levels such as: beginners to advanced, kindergarten to university, and conversation to business. Our centre also carries various types of materials such as books on CD, VCD, CD-ROM and cassette tapes etc. Our aim is to promote the Chinese language internationally, and to build a platform for access to relevant resources.
