Individual Visa Application Information
1. Visa Requirement:
Applications will not be accepted until
August 1
, because visas have a validity of 3 months before entry to China.Prepare and send ALL of the following to Hanban North America Education Inc. at the address below by October 7, 2011. Visa applications received by
October 7, 2011 will be processed free of charge
(i.e. Hanban will cover the visa fee of $140, as well as the cost of mailing the documents back to you).
If the documents are received after October 7, 2011, you will be responsible for the cost of Expedited Chinese Visa application service ($ 100) as well as charges for FedEx International Priority Service ($ 38) to return your passport. You will be required to submit additional $ 138 to cover the above costs.
No documents will be accepted or processed after October 14, 2011

a) Valid Passport:
Important Note: Hanban North America Education Inc. can only process regular passports.
If you hold a different class of passport (e.g. official, service, diplomatic, etc.) you will need to apply for a visa at your local Chinese consulate.
Send your
original personal passport
to Hanban North America Education Inc. at the address provided below by no later than October 7, 2011. The passport must have at least six (6) months validity from the date of departure (i.e. with an expiration date of May.03, 2011 or later) and at least one blank visa page for the visa stamp. Note: passport pages 22, 23, and 24 are not visa pages and are not acceptable.
Please note that as the normal processing time for Chinese Visa application takes up to three weeks, delegates who do not hold valid passports are strongly recommended to apply for their passports as soon as possible
b) Visa Application Form and Supplementary_application_form:
Complete and submit one application form and Supplementary_application_form per applicant.

c) Photograph:
A recent 2”x2” passport-type color photo is required. The photo must show the front view of your full face (no hat) against a plain light background, and should be affixed to the Visa Application Form in the designated space.
d) Additional Requirements for Non-U.S. Citizens:
You must send a copy of both sides of your U.S. Green Card or your valid U.S. visa.
2. Shipping instructions
Because of the importance and sensitive nature of these documents:
• We strongly recommend
that you use we only accept FedEx, DHL, UPS or a similar secure courier service.(Please note: USPS registered mail typically takes 3-5 weeks to deliver to Vancouver, so please do not mail your documents using this service.)
• When completing the shipping form,
please do not enter a value over $50 for your documents
because your shipment will be delayed by customs and will incur customs fees.

- provide a street address for the return mailing of your passport.
P.O Box addresses are NOT acceptable

, so that we can reply to your email to confirm receipt of your documents.
3. Additional Information:
• Embassy/Consulate officials have the right to ask for additional documentation in order to issue a visa. Hanban North America will not be responsible for services which the Embassy/Consulate provides in connection with the granting of visas, or for any denials. In addition, Hanban North America will not be held responsible for any delays or loss of documents by any delivery services such as FedEx, UPS, DHL or US Postal Service. Damage compensation is not available.
• If you choose to apply for a visa on your own, you will be responsible for completing the application procedures according to the requirements of the Embassy or Consulate. There will be no refund of visa processing fees for delegates who choose to apply on their own.
